Chinese is a cuisine that is hard to find and feel safe eating when dining out. We typically make our Chinese food at home and Aldi made it super easy with some of their gluten free products.

This is a great meal to curb your Chinese craving and to have an easy meal to make during the week for your family. We also love to make gluten free Chinese chicken and fried rice meal when we have a little more time and ingredients on hand. I will post that recipe soon!

You will make the packaged chicken and linguine noodles as recommended on the package directions. Toss the noodles in the Low Mein or Chow Mein Sauce. Toss the baked chicken in the orange sauce. You can do everything in orange sauce if you prefer to make it easier! I hope you enjoy this recipe!

Gluten Free Chinese Orange Chicken and Lo Mein Linguine Noodles

This is an easy, amazing curb craving recipe for Gluten Free Chinese Orange Chicken and Linguine Noodles!

Ingredients
  

Sauce for noodles

  • 2 tbsp gluten free soy sauce plus additional for topping
  • 1/2 tbsp Gluten-Free Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Instructions
 

  • Bake the 1 package gluten free breaded chicken as instructed on the package.
  • Cook 1 package gluten free linguine noodles as instructed on package.
  • Lo Mein Sauce: Combine in a small bowl, 2 tbsp gluten free soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp Gluten-Free Sweet Chili Sauce, 1 tsp rice wine vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp ground ginger.
  • Spray skillet with nonstick spray. Saute 1/2 cup shredded carrots in skillet. Add cooked linguine noodles and Lo Mein sauce.
  • Toss the baked chicken in the 1 cup gluten free orange sauce.
  • Top chicken and lo mein noodles with optional chives and additional soy sauce if desired.

Notes

You can change up the recipe however you like!
You can use orange sauce for the noodles instead of making a separate lo mein sauce if you’d like to make it easier.
You could skip the orange sauce and toss the chicken in with the noodles and Lo Mein sauce.
You could use a different package of gluten free breaded chicken. We like the Aldi brand for this recipe.
