Instructions

Instructions Using Crockpot

  • Slice or quarter 1 whole orange and place all ingredients in crockpot with 4-6 cups water (or apple juice).
  • Bring to a simmer over the lowest possible heat.
  • Simmer as long as you like, on the lowest heat, refilling water as needed. Don't forget to check the water levels occasionally.

Instructions Using Stovetop

  • Slice or quarter 1 whole orange and place all potpourri ingredients in saucepan with 4-6 cups water (or apple juice).
  • Turn crockpot on high. After one hour, turn crockpot to low setting.
  • Refill water as needed. Don't forget to check the water levels occasionally.

Notes

  • The scent will last for up to 4 days before the ingredients need to be replaced. If using stovetop, place lid on pot and turn off stove. Place back on stove and remove lid when ready to reheat. If using crockpot, just turn the crockpot back on low.
  • I did mine in the crockpot and it had the best smell on the morning of day 2!
