I am always on the hunt for restaurants that have gluten free options and that are Celiac friendly. I have started a list of restaurants that we have tried that offer gluten free in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow area. I try to make an individual blog post of each restaurant as I go but I will continue adding them to this list as we try more places to help guide you in eating gluten free in Tulsa, OK areas. To find my individual posts of each restaurant, go to the Tulsa page. I will note if the restaurant is a dedicated gluten free facility. If not noted, assume it is not and there is a risk of cross contact.

Tulsa Area Restaurants

Cafe 75

I finally tried Cafe 75 and it is definitely a must! It’s actually located in Mounds, OK. It’s a little drive from where I live in Broken Arrow but definitely worth it. They offer several gluten free items but they are not a dedicated gluten free restaurant. See my full post here.

Coffee House on Cherry Street (CHOCS)

Coffee House on Cherry Street, often called or referred to as CHOCS, has delicious desserts, breakfast, and coffee all marked gluten free on their menu. This is a must when visiting downtown Tulsa area. It’s located on a cute street called Cherry Street with lots of other restaurants and shops.

Bin 35 Bistro

Bin 35 Bistro is on my list to try. It’s highly recommended by other people that eat gluten free. Their most recommended dish is the fried chicken.

Napa Flats

Napa Flats is near Jenks, OK. They have gluten free bread, gluten free pizza crust, and other items marked gluten free. The waiters are usually knowledgeable and friendly regarding gluten allergies and Celiac Disease.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Carrabba’s is what I consider more upscale Italian food when comparing to Olive Garden. We really enjoy it. It’s a more elegant dining experience in that I don’t like taking my toddlers, though. We order this for take out more often than dining in. What I love is that their menu is clearly marked and they have a separate kitchen for gluten free foods. I love their Fettuccine Carrabba, Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka, and their house creamy parmesan salad as a side.

Neighborhood Jam in Tulsa, OK

Neighborhood Jam is my favorite breakfast or brunch spot for eating gluten free in Tulsa. They have gluten free pancakes and toast. There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility.

Ruth’s Chicken Food Truck in Tulsa, OK area

eating gluten free at Ruth's Chicken in Tulsa, OK

You guys!! Ruth’s chicken has the best fried chicken I have ever had and I’m not exaggerating. They have great gluten free buns for fried chicken sandwiches, and it comes with their amazing house made sauce, too! Their French fries are so good as well. If you live in Tulsa or are visiting, you have to find their food truck and try it. The best part.. they are 100% gluten free and celiac safe!!

Neff Brewing 2/2024

Neff Brewing is a dedicated gluten free restaurant and brewery. We love this place and it’s so great because it’s 100% gluten free with no risk of cross contact! The menu posted is from their website at the time of this restaurant post.

Broken Arrow Area Restaurants

Smokie’s Hickory House

Smokie’s Hickory House has delicious BBQ. All the meats are gluten free and they offer gluten free buns and bread. They do not have a gluten free toaster for toast. Their sides are gluten free except for the fried items and they don’t have a separate frier for the fries. It’s a must try if you’re in the BA area.

KEO

KEO is a delicious Asian cuisine restaurant. They have several gluten free options. I especially like their Malaysian Style Fried Rice meal. Their online menu is not marked gluten free but they are knowledgeable regarding gluten free and precautions.

El Tequila in BA on Elm Street

El Tequila in Broken Arrow on Elm is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. They are family and kid friendly and we love their food. Warning: Their menu is not labeled gluten free and the staff isn’t always knowledgeable. I asked one time and was told none of their foods have gluten except the obvious – flour tortillas, breaded items. I order their fajitas with corn tortillas, enchiladas, white queso, salsa, refried beans, and rice and have never gotten sick at this restaurant.

CAVA

CAVA is one of our favorite places to grab a bowl of fresh, healthy ingredients for lunch when we are out or on the go. I linked their website to their nutrition/allergen page and you can also click on menu to see their full menu. We love their greek grain bowls with rice and chicken and lots of veggies. There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility.

Water’s Edge Winery in Broken Arrow, OK in the Rose District

Water's Edge Winery in Broken Arrow, OK

Water’s Edge Winery is such a cute place. I love the vibe there because it could be a fun girl’s night or a great date night. I have had their Mediterranean flatbread on gluten free crust, 5 Cheese Panini on gluten free bread, and their hummus and veggies. All things were delicious! There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility. Check out my post on this restaurant.

Caribbean Sushi in Broken Arrow, OK

Caribbean Sushi in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has a great gluten free menu. They are not a dedicated kitchen and do have risk of cross contamination. They do take great precautions when you notify your waiter that you are gluten free and/or Celiac but always check your food when delivered and make sure. You can scroll down their menu page to find the menu labeled Gluten Free. Check out my post on this restaurant.

They even have gluten free soy sauce upon request!

Jersey Mike’s Subs

Jersey Mike’s is our favorite sub sandwich restaurant. There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility. They take great precautions and are trained well on cross contact. They clean all the surfaces before making your gluten free sandwich and they bring out clean utensils. They use Udi’s sub sandwich bread. With the juices added, I don’t find the bread too dry. I usually get mine to go and ask for the juices on the side so it doesn’t get soggy. Here is their pdf menu.

Los Cabos Mexican Grill in Broken Arrow, OK

Mexican food is my jam so we go to Los Cabos Mexican Grill in Broken Arrow, OK pretty often. There is also a location in Jenks, OK. I don’t see their gluten free menu online but I took a photo of it last time we were there. I love enchiladas and chips and queso so if a restaurant has these two things I’m sold. There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility. They do not have a dedicated kitchen but they are knowledgeable about gluten free and take good precautions.

Schlotsky’s

Schlotsky’s is another favorite sandwich place but I will say they don’t take the precautions that Jersey Mike’s does. If you tell them you have an allergy, I think they still do pretty well. There is risk of cross contact due to not being a dedicated gluten free facility. They have Udi’s bread for sandwiches and they also have Udi’s pizza crust.

Salad and Go

We really love stopping by Salad and Go for a quick, healthy, gluten free lunch. It’s also inexpensive!

Hideaway Pizza

Hideaway Pizza is my go to pizza place. I really like their pizza. I’ve never had a problem with getting sick or feeling like it wasn’t safe to eat there. They typically take good precautions but I also check my food to be sure. I keep trying other pizza places and end up going back to Hideaway! They have a gluten free crust or a cauliflower crust to choose from. Their meatballs are NOT gluten free, FYI. I believe that’s the only topping that is not gluten free. Here is a link to their allergen pdf.
