Superbowl is one my favorite times of the year because it has two of my favorite things: football and snacks! We made a fun spread of Gluten Free Superbowl snacks this year! The only thing that would make it better is if my team was playing (Dallas Cowboys). Sad face.
Chicken Wings
You can’t have gluten free Superbowl snacks without chicken wings! We like to do ours a variety of ways. I like mine in the air fryer but we also do some fried in oil. We use a few different sauces. I like Garlic Parmesan on mine but my Louisiana husband likes some spice so he uses Buffalo sauce. Check the labels on your bottles of sauce as some do contain wheat. We tried Moore’S Buffalo Wing Sauce for the first time and my husband said it was his favorite so far.
Buffalo Dip
This was something my husband threw together with leftover items and it turned out to be my favorite part of the meal. He just mixed 1 block cream cheese, 1/4 cup buffalo sauce, 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and 6 slices chopped, cooked, bacon. Then, he spread a small layer of ranch dressing and sprinkled shredded cheddar cheese on top and baked until bubbly. We served it with tortilla chips and veggies.
Jalapeno Poppers
Typical Jalapeno Poppers here since all the ingredients are gluten free! Jalapeno peppers, cream cheese, and bacon! Cut the peppers in half and clean the insides out. Spread cream cheese in the jalapeno peppers. Wrap the peppers with bacon. Bake until the peppers are soft and the bacon is cooked. As always, check your labels and make sure your cream cheese and bacon are gluten free.
